Designed to replicate the car which Don Yenko drove to victory in the 1968 Sebring 12 hour endurance, this 1968 Corvette Convertible has a removable hardtop, a rebuilt suspension with high quality parts, and only 54789 original miles.

Engine & Specs

  • 30 minutes run time on test stand with no miles
  • 2 bolt main 427 +.060, professionally built
  • Original Muncie close ration 4 speed with Hurst Competition Plus shifter and a “factory look alike” shifter.
  • TRW pistons and moly rings
  • ARP fasteners,
  • COMP Cams solid lifter cam
  • COMP lifters
  • Valve springs and pushrods
  • Milodon oil pump and pan  
  • Cast iron heads with new valves, guides, and a competition valve job
  •  Original GM factory aluminum square port intake with a 780 cfm Holley carb
  • Distributor: MSD 8572 tach drive unit with a MSD/ GM 6A ignition module. 
  • Flywheel: Weber explosion proof
  • Stock clutch assembly, covered by a Lakewood two piece scattershield.  
  • Radiator: new Griffin aluminum unit mounted to the stock radiator support with air flow provided by a large electric fan.
  • Gauges are all NOS Stewart Warner (Oil pressure, oil temperature, water temp, AMPS) mounted in a custom fabricated console as are the switches for the Holley electric fuel pump, electric fan, ignition switch and START switch.

Fuel System

  • 16 gallon FUEL SAFE fuel cell
  • Holley electric fuel pump
  • FRAM fuel filter
  • 1/2 inch diameter braided stainless steel fuel line with a Holley fuel pressure regulator.

Brakes and Wheels

  • Stock 68 Corvette brakes
  • Stainless steel sleeved calipers
  • Wheels are new American Racing Torque Thrust D-spoke, 15×7 diameter with new reproduction Firestone Indy 920-15 tires

Body and Interior

  • Removable hardtop
  • All body panels are either the original or NOS GM (ALL 4 fender panels are NOS GM) and were replaced when the car was restored. 
  • Panel fit and paint work are show quality, all work professionally done.
  •  Seats are fiberglass racing buckets with vinyl seat covers.
  • Undamaged and rust free frame
