Originally driven by racing legend Geoff Brabham, this March has been carefully restored from the ground up by AR Racewerks llc to its original livery and is ready to compete in HSR, HSR West, SVRA, VARA, Legends of Motosports, and Vintage Indy Racing Group.
The March’s engine was rebuilt by Gerald Davis, and has only dyno and engine run up time. The engine has since been leak checked, lubed, and turned over regularly. The fuel system has been prepared for storage, the gear box has been reconditioned, case zyglo checked, and gears mag particle inspected. Clutch and pressure plate were also inspected.
Racing History:
Competed in the 1984 CART series for KRACO Racing, driven by Geoff Brabham along with teammate Michael Andretti.
This car has experienced multiple successes in the 1984 C.A.R.T. Season:
- Two 2nd places finishes (Long Beach Grand Prix to Mario, and the G.I. Joe’s Portland G.P. to Al Unser Jr)
- 1984 Indianapolis 500: Qualified 8th – 204.931 · Six top five finishes overall.
