Only 300 limited edition Cobra R’s were produced by Ford, with this car being #81 of 300. The car is in excellent condition and has just over 5000 miles recorded on the Odometer.

This Cobra R was purchased brand new at Swanson Ford in Los Gatos, CA. Shortly after it was upgraded with a professional cage, window net, racing Bassani exhaust (which is the same as OEM without cats) and a rear differential cooler.

It ran five events in 2001, as noted by the original owner and the SCCA logbook. After that it was driven on a limited street only basis until it was purchased by it’s second owner at the Russo & Steele auction in Monterey, CA.

Over the past three years the Cobra R has seen only limited track time at Chin track events.

It has fresh fluids, a new cam lock harness, hurst shifter, new brake pads and is fully race prepped for the year.

The car includes the original factory Cobra R SVT manual, certificate of authenticity, as well as the SCCA logbook.
