This Turner received a frame-off restoration by Doug Fraser of Doug Fraser Racing Engines, who transformed the car from street use to track use, racing it at Limerock, Loudon, and Thompson Speedway. The Turner accomplished a lap speed of 1.16 at Limerock with Doug behind the wheel.
The car was purchased from Doug in 2009 and improved further by its new owner.
