This vehicle has been sold.
This gem is powered by a fresh Alfa Romeo motor with only 2 hours (1 of which is only dyno time!) and is mated to a Hewland MK 5 transaxle gearbox. The Bobsy has an all aluminum tube frame with aluminum bulkheads and interior panels. A bolt-in steel cage was fabricated for additional driver protection.
Car was completely rebuilt by Jack-Beck-Orion Engineering, and then was subsequently and frequently prepared and maintained by Apex Vintage Car Management. No expense has been spared to maintain this race car.
All work performed on the vehicle over the last 25 years has been meticulously documented in binders. These binders contain invoices, service records, and event preparation records (which total over $135,000). The VSCDA and CSRG logbooks are included with the race car.
